Robert Bradfield
Anchor, Executive Producer
Gainesville, Fla.

It's a return to North Central Florida for Robert, who previously worked at TV20 from 2005-2010.
He started as an intern and worked his way to producing the 10 p.m. CW newscast with Myra Monroe.
He is a Florida Gator, having attended the University of Florida during the Tim Tebow years! Robert was active in the journalism department, anchoring radio and television newscasts his senior year. He was the inaugural bureau chief for ABC News on Campus, a student-run bureau which worked with ABC News to report on a wide range of stories, including the 2008 presidential election and the Gator's trip to the BCS game in Miami.
In 2010, Robert moved to western Kentucky where he spent six years as a reporter/anchor for WPSD. During his time there, he covered several deadly tornadoes and the historic flooding of 2011. His work helped earn the station a regional Edward R. Murrow.
You may also recognize Robert as the viral anchor who couldn't keep it together while reporting on Chris P. Bacon, a celebrity pig born without his hind legs.
Robert moved to Louisville in 2016 and spent nearly three years at WHAS as a reporter.
He then moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2019 to join the team at First Coast News. In 2022, Robert took a management position there as nightside executive producer after being diagnosed with heart failure. First Coast News reported on Robert's condition, earning him a Suncoast Regional EMMY.
Robert grew up on Florida's Space Coast watching every shuttle launch from his driveway. He is an avid Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars fan. In his spare time, he enjoys cheering on his favorite sports teams and exploring the best of North Central Florida.
