TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — In a release from the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, the rumors of the Sheriff’s Office going to schools to remove children due to their immigration status, are not true.

Sheriff Jack Johnson assures that they have no such actions planned but will work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove criminal illegal aliens from the community. The steps taken are to notify Immigration on any possible illegal aliens from the community.

Johnson stated, “…we do honor detainer holds on individuals arrested in our county. I have sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States and my Office will uphold that Oath.”
