Gooding County Sheriff’s Office investigates late night stabbing

WENDELL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — (UPDATE) We have new information into a reported stabbing that occurred Wednesday night in Wendell.

According to court documents, the defendant, Juan Hernandez Feliciano, 29, allegedly stabbed the victim in their shared camp trailer.

Another party drove the victim to Highway 46, to meet up with EMS. The victim was life-flighted from North Canyon Medical Center to Boise and remains in the hospital.

Hernandez Feliciano fled the scene, but was stopped in Minidoka County by the Idaho State Police and charged with DUI. He was also charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in Gooding County, where his bond was set at $500,000.

(Original Story) The Gooding County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a late night stabbing.

According to a deputy, the call came in just before 10:40 p.m. of a pickup north of Wendell on Highway 46, transporting a man who had been stabbed.

The man was taken to North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding, before being air-lifted to an area hospital.

The severity of his injuries is unknown at this time.

We also don’t know if anyone has been arrested in regard to this incident.
