TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Idaho State Police is offering an incentive to those looking to become a trooper.

Districts statewide have openings and those accepted will receive a $2,000 signing bonus.

During the hiring process, applicants will select the district where they want to work and live.

If you choose to apply, expect a written examination, physical fitness test, oral interview, thorough background investigation, as well as medical and psychological evaluations.

You must be a U.S. citizen, at least 21 years old, a high school graduate or hold a GED equivalent, and possess or be eligible for an Idaho driver’s license.

The next training academy begins in January 2025.
