Update: Body of missing man found in canal
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in finding a missing man who has been missing since Friday.
The sheriff’s office found the truck driven by Marvin Orellana-Orozco, submerged in the Low Line Canal at Eastland Drive South, on Monday.
The Special Investigations Unit, consisting of Twin Falls Police and Twin Falls Sheriff’s personnel, located the crash site around noon.
The possible crash site featured debris from the truck and damage to the guard rail. The dive team and members of search and rescue brought the vehicle to the surface.
But Orellana-Orozco was not found inside.
Ditch riders have been asked to check their gates and lines. The Twin Falls Canal Company has also been notified.
We will hear from the family and investigators Wednesday evening.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in Orellana-Orozco’s name.
