‘Fly high, Laney,’ TFHS softball remembers teammate
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The local softball community is mourning the loss of one of their own.
Twin Falls High School junior Laney Morgan died early Sunday morning following injuries sustained in a car crash in Wendell.
Morgan’s teammates honored her memory Sunday evening with a balloon release and painted the school rock, writing quotes such as “Fly high Laney” and “4 ever our number 21.”

She was a catalyst for the Bruins during her high school career, helping them take third place at the 4A state championships in May.
She also played for several club teams, including Sweets, who shared photos on their Facebook page.
“Keep swinging for those fences in heaven,” one of the comments read.
There is a Memorial account set up at ICCU under “Memorial account for Laney Morgan” and you can go into any branch to donate until December 18th.
