TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A Twin Falls man is behind bars on multiple charges related to child sexual abuse.

Brandon Embretson, 41, was arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Jerome County Magistrate Court on three counts of felony lewd conduct with a child under 16.

A warrant was issued for his arrest on June 27th after a child came forward to her school counselor saying that she was sexually abused.

According to court documents, that led to interviews with specialists at St. Luke’s Children At Risk Evaluation Services, or more commonly known as CARES.

On June 17th, a detective from the Jerome County Sheriff’s Office monitored the interview with the minor child and a CARES forensic interviewer.

Charges were filed 10 days later.
