Police looking for suspect in missing softball tractor case
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Police are trying to track down whoever stole the Twin Falls High School softball team’s tractor.
The tractor disappeared between Jan. 23 and Jan. 28, according to Athletic Director Shawn Walker.
The school usually keeps the tractor in the softball equipment shed, but one day, the coach noticed that the shed’s door was kicked in.
When the coach checked it out, he found the tractor missing.
“That piece of equipment in particular is very important to maintaining our fields and making it look nice,” Walker said. “That was a punch to the gut so to speak for someone to break into our stuff and steal our equipment.”
The district is helping the school get a replacement while police search for the culprit, according to the high school.
If you have any information or have seen the tractor, call the Twin Falls Police Department.
