Firefighters respond to house fire in Twin Falls
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Firefighters responded to a house fire on the north end of Twin Falls.
Firefighters received a call at 5:15 p.m. for a house fire along Village Street after a family returned to their house to find smoke inside, according to the Twin Falls Fire Department.
Crews had to cut holes into the floorboard to fight the flames, according to the fire department. They also cut holes in the roof to ventilate the interior. The firefighters battled flames near the windows as the fire threatened a nearby home.
The Rock Creek Fire Department and the Twin Falls Police Department are assisting Twin Falls firefighters on the scene.
There are no injuries, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation, according to the fire department.
