TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —It may not feel like summer, but that hasn’t stopped the preparation at the Twin Falls City Pool.

The pool is a fantastic resource for those who want to take a dip or get some exercise. They offer a number of classes from swimming to fitness all through summer.

Right now they are in the process of training new staff and prepping the pool.

That’s quite a process as in the colder months since the complex is covered with a bubble. The pool is closed this week as they prepare for summer.

But, things are moving along.

Aquatics Director John Pauley says, “right now we just took down the bubble, we’ve done that the last couple days. Memorial Day was our last day open with the bubble on. It was a really busy day for how beautiful it was which was really awesome. Since Monday after we closed through today we’ve been getting ready to take it down and as you can see tell it is down and we are getting ready for summer mode. "

What can people expect as the summer season begins. The pool will be busy.

“It’ll be busy we’ve got a lot of programs go out a lot of activity one week is very close to about three to four weeks of activity in the winter so it’s different show all together. We have a lot of different programs from different swim teams, swim lessons, junior lifeguard camp to open swim. We also have inflatables in the water and maybe some special events along the way as well,” said Pauley.
