Idaho State Police investigates rollover accident in Jerome County

A driver of a 2001 Dodge Dakota told KMVT that as he was heading east on I-84, he jackknifed, rolled over, then did a 180 due to the icy conditions.

JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Winter’s first blast in the Magic Valley brought its share of accidents and slide-offs on the roads, including Thursday night.

Around 5 p.m., a driver of a 2001 Dodge Dakota told KMVT that as he was heading east on I-84, he jackknifed, rolled over, then did a 180 due to the icy conditions.

Fortunately no other vehicles were involved.

Miraculously the male driver walked away from the accident uninjured.

Idaho State Police responded to the scene.
