TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Calling all chocolate lovers! You’ll want to clear your schedules for Thursday night, that’s because the annual “Death by Chocolate” event is back!

This is the 18th year that the Rotary Club of Twin Falls has hosted this event, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Canyon Crest Event Center.

Local chefs and culinary students will go against each other in five different categories, making either brownie, cake, candy, cookie or a unique chocolate dessert.

People who attend and a panel judges will vote for their favorite in each category.

Jill Skeem, founder and chairperson of the event says, it all benefits a great cause.

“Well our community project has started was to rebuild the bathrooms at Frontier Park so we’ve started construction, so it’s going toward any cost that we might have in connection with that,” Skeem explained. “If we have money that does not need to go to construction, then it will go to local charities and we’ll open it up again to bidding from local charities.”

Tickets are $20 if you them before the event, you can purchase them at Kurt’s Pharmacy or online.

If you buy them at the door they cost $25.
