TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — You may be finalizing your plans for Halloween festivities right now, but something you will want to remember is your family’s safety.

Regarding safety protocols on Halloween night next Thursday, officials with Twin Falls Police said officers will be out on patrols to help keep everyone safe.

They also recommend trick-or-treating in a group, planning a route and watching for passing cars.

“Some of these trick-or-treaters have a facemask that unfortunately limits their visibility to see vehicles; but it is something the vehicles should also be looking out for,” patrol officer Martin Becerra said.

Becerra said he would be on duty for Halloween and encouraged the public to report any suspicious people or vehicles.
