Twin Falls Park boat dock reopens following improvements
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A popular place for fishing and boating in Twin Falls is back open with some new improvements.
Construction has been underway at Twin Falls Park and now there’s a new dock as well as restroom facilities. Idaho Power, who owns the park along the Snake River, said this is the final phase of improvements that began back in 2023.
The company adds that there are also some major safety improvements for the area, as well.
“We realized that possibly there was some congestion at our really popular dock. So we made walking path for people to get down there. That’s a little safer for them,” Angela Miller, the Education and Outreach Energy Advisor for Idaho Power said.
The road leading to the docks has also been widened to help make it easier for trucks carrying boats and other traffic to safely get down there.
