Accident involving train and truck in Jerome

JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — An accident involving a white pick-up truck and a train occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Jerome on Main Street, just east of the on-ramp to I-84. A white pick-up failed to yield to the train, no injuries or fatalities were reported.

Idaho State Police, Jerome County Sheriff and Jerome Rural Fire District were on scene.

The roadway was closed for a short amount of time.
