Slight dip in gas prices for Idaho
BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —According to AAA, the average price for gas in Idaho is $3.19, which is about five cents cheaper than nationally. The Idaho price is down two cents from last week, but 15 cents up from a month ago and eight cents more than last year. The Gem State is hovering steady at being the 11th most expensive fuel all week.
“Idaho weather is warming up this week, and gasoline demand could, too,” says AAA Idaho public affairs director Matthew Conde. “While we hope for additional savings at the pump, we will have to see how things unfold – fingers crossed for another calm week.”
Crude oil is about the same as last week at $71, which is cheaper than a month ago and last year.
