Rupert structure fire blazes in the early hours

RUPERT, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — In a post from the Minidoka Fire Department, around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, the East End fire station was called out for a structure fire just west of Rupert. Upon arrival, crews had a building fully engulfed in flames and they called in assistance from the Heyburn station. The fire was contained and extinguished around 5 a.m., with the cause being unknown at this time.
There was a total of three engines, two water tenders and a command that responded. Emergency Response Ambulance & Minidoka County Sherriff’s Office also assisted in controlling the fire.
