Human Tracking Awareness month vigil to be held in Jerome

JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — January brings awareness to Human Trafficking and marks Human Trafficking Awareness Month. On Jan. 18 at 7 p.m., a vigil will be held at Forsyth Park in Jerome to raise awareness and honor the victims of human trafficking.
Human trafficking is a hidden crime in which individuals are exploited for labor, services or commercial sex through force, fraud and family. It affects people of all ages, backgrounds and identities.
Candles will be provided for attendees of the ceremony, and testimonials from survivors will be shared. The event will be streamed live.
