TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Two popular Snake River boat launches in Southern Idaho have reopened.

Both facilities are owned, operated and maintained by Idaho Power and renovations have been completed.

C.J. Strike Reservoir boat ramp at North Park campground as well as the adjacent boat ramp are open with new floating docks. This is part of a multi-year facelift with new docks to be installed at the nearby Cottonwood Park, The Narrows and Loveridge Bridge this upcoming fall.

In Twin Falls Park, the lower part of the park has reopened, with additional parking and shoreline reinforcements. The shoreline is the final phase of a plan that began in 2023.
