Sunday snow impacting morning road conditions across the Magic Valley

**UPDATE (Feb. 16, 11:52 a.m.): Second crash along westbound Interstate 84 has been cleared

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A round of Sunday morning snow affected road conditions across the Magic Valley.

Most of the Sunday morning road conditions around the Magic Valley were listed as difficult, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.

Roads listed as difficult included Interstate 84 from Bliss to Heyburn, U.S. Highway 30 from Bliss to Filer and Twin Falls to Burley, and U.S. Highway 93 north of Twin Falls.

U.S. Highway 26, Idaho Route 74, Idaho Route 46, Idaho Route 75, Idaho Route 50, Idaho Route 25 and Idaho Route 27 were also listed as difficult, according to ITD.

U.S. Highway 20 west of Stanton Crossing, Idaho Route 75 north of Shoshone, Idaho Route 46 north of Gooding and Idaho Route 24 east of Kimama were listed as good.

ITD reported a crash along westbound Interstate 84 near Heyburn at 8:05 a.m. that has since been cleared. The crash temporarily blocked all westbound lanes for up to two hours near milepost 209.5.

ITD also reported another crash at 10:47 a.m. near the same spot. The crash blocked the westbound right lane for up to an hour at milepost 208.6.

Due to significant avalanche danger, Idaho Route 21 remains closed from Grandjean to Banner Summit, according to ITD. Crews will reassess the highway at 7 a.m. on Monday.
