Head-on crash injures four in Jerome
**Correction: The southbound vehicle was a mid-size car, not an SUV
JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A head-on crash in Jerome left four people injured on Sunday morning.
The crash occurred at the South Lincoln Road and W Avenue East intersection, according to the Jerome Police Department.
Police said an 18-year-old man was driving southbound on South Lincoln Road with two passengers in an mid-size car. The car crashed head-on into a 65-year-old man driving a pickup truck southbound while he was making a left turn.
Ground ambulances transported all occupants in both vehicles to a hospital, according to police. Emergency responders blocked the southbound lane of Lincoln Road for around three hours.
Magic Valley Paramedics, Air St. Luke’s Ground, and Jerome City Fire Department assisted officers and Idaho State Police troopers on the scene.
The crash is currently under investigation.
