Winter weather impacts highway road conditions in the Magic Valley

SHOSHONE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Multiple roads in the northern parts of the Magic Valley are listed as difficult to travel, according to the Idaho Transportation Department’s website.

Idaho Route 75 north of Shoshone has icy conditions, and surface friction is listed as poor, according to ITD. Idaho Route 46 north of Gooding has snowy conditions and poor surface friction.

Idaho State Route 24 from Shoshone to Kimama is also covered in light snow. It is listed as having difficult road conditions, according to ITD. U.S. Highway 20 from Stanton Crossing to Mountain Home has slushy conditions, but surface friction is good.

U.S. Highway 93 between Twin Falls and Jerome has slushy conditions, and the surface conditions remain good, according to ITD.
