New CEO at local Twin Falls nonprofit

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A new captain is at the helm of the South Central Community Action Partnership.

After working with the organization for the past five years, Angie Carter is the new CEO of the local nonprofit. The partnership provides various services to help people in need across our area.

Carter talked about one of her key focus areas for the organization.

“We are trying to ramp up our empty bowls a little bit,” Carter said. “Both of those events support our food program, which is always being reduced, so we really need the help with that, so we are really trying to expand empty bowls.”

Empty Bowls is an annual fundraiser coming up in April at the Twin Falls County Fairground.
