KIMBERLY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — It was never a doubt.

The Kimberly Lady Bulldogs are the 4A Sawtooth Central Idaho Conference Champions for the first time since the 2016-2017 season after beating Gooding 59-33.

Kimberly’s last undefeated conference championship season was the 2015-2016 year.

The Bulldogs stamp its ticket to the 4A State Tournament at Middleton High School from Feb. 20-22.

Sophomore sensation Taya Plew led the Bulldogs with 23 points in the win. Senior Berkley Dille added 12.

Dille spoke about what it means to finish her senior year with a piece of hardware.

“It’s sad being done, but it’s so nice to see that my hard work has paid off after these four years, winning the championship for the first time in my high school career,” Dille told KMVT. “It’s pretty awesome.”

Gooding will play Filer on Wednesday. The winner will join Kimberly at the state tournament.
