TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Semi-final action Wednesday night at the College of Southern Idaho in the 4A Sawtooth Central Idaho Tournament.

No. 3 Filer vs. No. 2 Gooding squared off to book their ticket to the championship game against Kimberly.

The Senators burst out of the gates on a 13-4 start with big shots from freshmen Camyrn Rycraft and Oliva Rogers, amongst others.

Gooding would carry the momentum and lead by 14 at the break.

Filer would battle back in the second half and go on an 11-0 run at one point, but it wasn’t enough.

The Senators would hold them off and win 55-43.

Rycraft had a game-high 19 points in the wi,n while Rogers scored 11.

Filer’s Tanli Lemoyne and Reese Hills each had 11 points in the loss.

Gooding will travel to take on Kimberly on Monday in the championship.

Filer will host Buhl in a loser-out game. The winner advances for a chance to go to the state tournament

No. 1 Kimberly 55, No. 4 Buhl 22

  • Ady Osborne led the Bulldogs with 16 points in the win. Taya Plew added 12, and Berkley Dille scored 11
  • Kimberly will host Gooding on Monday for the SCIC Championship
  • Buhl will travel to take on Filer on Monday in a loser-out game

1A Sawtooth Tournament

No. 1 Carey 48, No. 4 Castleford 21

  • Carey advances to the championship on Monday at the College of Southern Idaho and will play Dietrich for the title.
  • Castleford will play Bliss on Feb. 7 in a loser-out game at Richfield High School.

No. 2 Dietrich 36, No. 3 Richfield 18

  • Dietrich advances to the championship on Monday at the College of Southern Idaho and will play Dietrich for the title.
  • Richfield will host Hansen on Feb. 7 in a loser-out game.

Thunder Ridge 53 (10-9, 5-2 HCC), Canyon Ridge 41 (6-14, 0-8 HCC)

  • Mason Hill led Canyon Ridge with 17 points

3A

Declo 55 (19-9, 9-0 SEIC), Aberdeen 39 (3-16, 1-6)

  • Emmett Gibby led the Hornets with 15 points in the win

Soda Springs 51 (10-9, 4-3 SEIC), Wendell 48 (13-5, 2-3)

2A

Valley (17-0, 13-0 SRC), Lighthouse Christian (0-18, 0-14 SRC)

  • Drake Jones scored 15, Aiden Malone added 12, and Nathan Christensen had 11 points in the win. Balanced scoring from all 10 guys said Valley head coach Brian Hardy.
  • Tytus Smalley scored 19 points with four 3-pointers for Lighthouse

Hagerman 83 (11-6, 11-4 SRC), Sun Valley Christian School 23 (2-12, 2-11 SRC)

  • Senior Ky Kendall had a night popping off for a triple-double with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists for Hagerman on senior night
  • Shaymus Merrill had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
  • Martin Gonzales scored 14 and dished out seven assists

Raft River 52 (8-10, 8-6 SRC), Murtaugh 49 (7-11, 6-8 SRC)

  • Ryan Udy drains a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Trojans to the win
