UPDATE: Train derails east of Jerome

JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — According to the Jerome Police Department, a train derailed at 300 South and 625 East.
Police say approximately 15 cars are derailed and they are empty.
The incident occurred at 4 p.m. The train was headed east, but it’s unknown why the incident occurred.
According to dispatch, no one was injured.
The Jerome County Sheriff’s Office states the roads will open within a week or two.
