TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — On Tuesday, a small Bonanza aircraft had to crash land in a field north of the Magic Valley Regional Airport.

Around 5 p.m., the aircraft crashed into a field near the intersection of East 3500 North and North 2900 East after the plane lost power, according to deputies and firefighters on scene. Both people on board survived the crash with no injuries.

Deputies said crews would remove the plane from the field later as they could not drive through the muddy field.

The sheriff’s office, airport officials, and the FAA are investigating the crash.

KMVT will provide updates as the investigation unfolds.
