Semi-truck blocking traffic on U.S. Highway 30

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — According to KMVT sources, a call came in at 4:06 P.M. of a semi-truck that was attempting to do a U-turn on U.S. Highway 30 in front of the Chobani plant in Twin Falls. The semi got stuck in mud and gravel and Idaho State Police and Twin Falls Police were on scene.

Initially, only the eastbound lane was blocked and officers diverted the traffic to get the truck out.

It took about 10-15 minutes to get the semi-truck out, lanes should be cleared.

The driver is being cited with an unsafe U-turn.
