WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Two weeks after winning the presidential election, president-elect Donald Trump continues his rollout of personnel who will serve in his administration.

Trump has an ambitious agenda for his second term, while emphasizing loyalty in his picks. A clearer picture is emerging for who will serve in the Cabinet of America’s 47th President.

Despite promising to dismantle the Department of Education, president-elect Trump on Tuesday announced that he will name Linda McMahon - who formerly served as head of the Small Business Administration - to lead the Education Department.

Trump writing on social media: “We will send Education BACK TO THE STATES, and Linda will spearhead that effort.”

Trump picked Wall Street executive Howard Lutnick for Commerce Secretary. Lutnick will also oversee Trump’s trade policy.

Also Wednesday morning, the Trump transition announcing that former Acting Attorney General, Matt Whitaker, will be nominated to be the U.S. Ambassador to NATO. Trump has criticized NATO in the past and has accused some members of the defense alliance of spending too little on defense.

Trump has still not named key members of his economic team, including his Treasury Secretary and his chief economic advisor. All of Trump’s Cabinet choices must be confirmed by the Senate. That process will get underway in early January.
