Gooding Senators win on senior day, Buhl takes tough loss; Saturday's basketball scores
GOODING, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — In the final home game of the season for the Gooding Senators boys basketball team they used a fierce second half comeback to top Mountain Home by 20 and Buhl struggled to keep pace with a solid Marsh Valley Squad.
Buhl didn’t really get the offense going until the second quarter when Camron Gorrell hit a few three pointers to cut the lead down to 9, but Marsh Valley grew the lead back to double digits by half and went on to a near 30-point win.
Gooding started slow as well against Mountain Home, but once they found their footing midway through the second, the two teams traded baskets until half when Mountain Home headed to the locker room up one.
In the second half Gooding flipped the switch and outscored their opponents heavily on the way to a senior day victory in front of a packed house.
