BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The college football season ended Monday night with Ohio State’s championship win, and on Tuesday the final AP Top 25 poll was released.

The Boise State Broncos were the lowest-ranked College Football Playoff Quarterfinal team as they close the year ranked eighth in the AP Poll.

The Broncos were jumped by the Arizona State Sun Devils who rose three spots to number seven but were still 13 votes ahead of Tennessee, the highest-ranked College Football Playoff first round loser.

Of the non-playoff teams, Ole Miss was the highest-ranked jumping five spots from number 16 to number 11, which was just head of playoff teams SMU and Clemson as well as two-loss BYU.
