Massive search underway for missing 2-year-old in Oregon
SILETZ, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) - Authorities say the search for a missing boy in Oregon is expanding as they continue their search for him.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the search for 2-year-old Dane Paulsen entered its fourth day on Tuesday in the community of Siletz.

The sheriff’s office said it received the report of Paulsen’s disappearance at 4:25 p.m. Saturday. He was last seen in the yard of his family’s home near milepost 21 on Siletz Highway, which sits next to the Siletz River.
After three days of nonstop search efforts and still no sign of the 2-year-old, crews have ramped up their efforts, getting more boots on the ground and more eyes in the water.
The sheriff’s office said search teams have already covered hundreds of miles surrounding the family’s home because it’s where Dane was last seen.
Teams are now focusing on searching the river, using divers, drones and search dogs.
Missing posters are lining businesses for miles along the Oregon coast.
Community members say they’ve never dealt with a crisis quite like this but are trying to stay hopeful.
Community members are asked to report any information they have about the case to the sheriff’s office at 541-265-0669.
