Boss shoots his employee during fight about work in McDonald’s parking lot, police say

ATLANTA (WANF/Gray News) - Police say a man has died and another is under arrest after a deadly shooting occurred outside a McDonald’s in Georgia this week.

According to Gwinnett County police, Michael Todd, 40, is facing murder and assault charges after killing 43-year-old Donald Stewart on Wednesday.

Police said Todd was Stewart’s boss and the shooting happened during a fight about work at a McDonald’s in Gwinnett County.

Neither of the men were employed or customers at the McDonald’s.

Police said the two men got into a fight in the parking lot behind the restaurant and shots were fired.

Stewart was taken to the hospital but later died.

Authorities did not immediately release where the men worked.
