Van plowed through dining area of Burger King, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (WANF/Gray News - A van crashed through a Burger King in northeast Georgia on Thursday.
The Lavonia Police Department shared photos showing that the van had plowed through the dining area of the restaurant, which is just off I-85 in Lavonia.
Police said the driver “had apparently suffered a medical emergency” before crashing, and was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
Police said there were no injuries and first responders worked to make sure the scene was safe.
The photos show that the van appears to belong to the Lavonia-based Reed Plumbing & Electric business.
