PLYMOUTH, Ind. (WNDU/Gray News) - An Indiana man died in a workplace accident, according to authorities.

The Plymouth Police Department said 30-year-old Marshall Hunt was killed just after midnight Friday.

Officials said they believe he became caught in a press at Hoosier Tire & Rubber.

The Marshall County Coroner said they will investigate along with Plymouth Police and OSHA.

Hoosier Tire & Rubber has had two serious safety violations in the last seven years, according to OSHA, but records of previous work-related deaths have not been found.

This is the second workplace accident in the Michiana region in recent weeks after another man died at a Lippert Components plant in Goshen.
