SKAMANIA COUNTY Wash. (KPTV/Gray News) - Two men in Oregon were found dead after they went missing in a forest while searching for Sasquatch, also known was Bigfoot.

The two were reported missing around 1 a.m. on Christmas after they didn’t return home on Christmas Eve, as planned.

The 59-year-old and 37-year-old had been searching for the ‘mythical’ creature in the woods, according to the family.

After a three-day search involving a team of over 60 volunteers and rescue workers, drones, police dogs, and air support from the U.S. Coast Guard, the bodies of the two men were found.

Officials said their deaths appeared to be due to exposure to the harsh weather conditions in the forest.
