CHIEF METEOROLOGIST BOBBY KLARK - Wednesday Evening January 22, 2025

We saw another quiet, relatively calm wind, and seasonable day across the region. The good news, it looks to stay this way as we move towards Thursday. Friday, a low-pressure system tries to snake through to our north with very little moisture to work with. At best, some snow showers for the valleys leading into early Saturday morning; 1-3″ into the higher elevations above 6000 feet. It will drop our temperatures down 5-10 degrees below normal. Next week, the return flow from the southwest creeps up allowing for temps to rise but staying dry. Tonight, mainly clear skies, calm wind, seasonably chilly. Lows in the SINGLE Digits and TEENs. Tomorrow, it will be mostly sunny, relatively calm wind, seasonable. Highs in the 20s and 30s.
