COTTONWOOD CANYONS, Utah (KMVT/KSVT) — The Utah Department of Transportation worked overnight to re-open State Route 210 near Cottonwood Canyons, which was closed on Sunday due to avalanche danger.

Footage released by the Utah Department of Transportation of the Cottonwood Canyons shows avalanche mitigation work on Sunday.

Work continued early this morning according to the UDOT, Officials said they were aiming to re-open the road at around 10 am local time.

Meanwhile Interstate 84 to Utah on the Idaho side reopened at about 11 O’clock Monday morning.
