CHIEF METEOROLOGIST BOBBY KLARK - Thursday Evening January 23, 2025

Another gorgeous day today for your “Friday Eve”. Plenty of sunshine, wind not much of a factor, and temps flirting near seasonable conditions. Some minor changes occur as we head into tomorrow. A weak low-pressure system will round the ridge throughout the day bringing in some filtered cloud cover throughout the day. It looks even more moisture-starved than it did yesterday so at best a flurry or two in the lower elevations late Friday night into Saturday morning; snow showers above 6000 feet with the upslope. What the system lacks in moisture it will make up in colder air as temps will be about 10 degrees below we have seen this past week. With the breeze picking up, especially Saturday morning, it will feel frigid. Entering next week, it’s back to tranquil conditions with mainly clear conditions and temps slowly rising as the week moves along. Tonight, mainly clear skies, cold. Lows in the SINGLE digits and TEENs, rising heading towards daybreak. Tomorrow, clouds filter and build, breezy, seasonable. Snow flurries/showers developing late. Highs in the 20s and 30s.
