JEROME COUNTY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Idaho State Police arrested a fugitive from Washington state over the weekend.
A trooper pulled over James Boss, 56, on a felony warrant Friday afternoon on Interstate 84 in Jerome County, according to court documents.
That warrant is based on charges stemming from Lincoln County, Washington.
In an affidavit obtained by KMVT, those charges include sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct in the first degree.
On Friday, the deputy prosecuting attorney in Lincoln County set the bail at $100,000.
Court records show Boss was just convicted of harboring a minor in January.
Meanwhile, in Idaho, as one of the responding troopers placed Boss under arrest, another trooper found prescription drugs prescribed to other people in the trailer.
The initial trooper also found a cooler containing drug packaging and more pill bottles.
Boss was also charged in Idaho with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, according to court records.
Boss has an I.D. hearing as part of the extradition proceedings set for Thursday. Boss also has a preliminary hearing for his Idaho drug charges on March 13.
