Leslie Dominique
Reporter
Portland, OR

A Jersey girl at heart, Leslie Dominique is far away from home! She joined FOX 12 Oregon as a Multimedia Journalist in October, 2024.
Leslie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami in May of 2022. (Go Cane’s!) While at UMiami, she anchored and reported on various school shows and traveled around South Florida, telling stories of some of the region's most vibrant characters. She won a College Television Award for her feature package contribution to a sports newscast. While in college Leslie also interned for FOX News and Celeb Secrets.
In August of 2022, Leslie joined WTVC NewsChannel9 in Chattanooga, Tennessee as a Multimedia Journalist. Her work extends from severe storm and crime coverage to feature pieces. In 2024 she even took to the sky for an exclusive hangliding report over the Tennessee Valley. Leslie is a recipient of a Tennessee Broadcast Award in the Category of Best Coverage of Breaking News for her investigation of hazmat spills in Chattanooga.
So why Portland? The people, the culture and the adventure! Leslie’s interest in Portland peaked when she became an avid viewer of “Portlandia.” A road trip to downtown, the gorge and the Oregon coast sealed the deal for her decision.
Leslie looks forward to storytelling in the City of Roses and finding out what exactly makes Portland ”weird.”
