September shaping up to be fantastic planet viewing month

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —If you are a fan of looking up at the night sky, then September is shaping up to be a perfect month for you.

Several events are happening throughout this month at Centennial Observatory.

On Sunday, September 8 Saturn will have its closest approach of 2024, Centennial Observatory will open from 1:15 to 2:15 in the morning.

International Observe the Moon Night will be held on Saturday, September 14, and will coincide with the monthly star party starting at 8:30 P.M. and ending at 10:30 P.M.
