RUPERT, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Minidoka County is planning a test of its election software in preparation for Election Day.

The Minidoka County Elections Office will conduct the pre-election Public Logic and Accuracy test on Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. to prepare for the 2024 presidential election, according to Minidoka County.

The test will take place at the office at 715 G St. in Rupert, according to the county. It ensures that ballots are being properly read and tabulated by election software.

Officials will secure the tabulators and election software until Election Day, Nov. 5, according to the county. They invite the public and the media to observe the test.
