Behind The Business : Valley Kings Barbershop

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — With the buzz of a razor and passion for hair, Marcos Maciel, the owner of “Valley Kings Barbershop” is this weeks, “Behind The Business.”

Maciel has been cutting hair for 10 years after figuring out it was his passion for the craft. The name of the barbershop reflects its location, “Because we were in the valley and we are all men, we’re kind of the kings.”

Valley Kings takes a different approach cutting, with a mission. They offer detailing mans-cuts, beards, eyebrows and waxing. “I’m passionate about our work and we always take our time and always bring the best out of people.”

Although they are primarily a barbershop, the also offer braiding. “So girls get their braiding hair. Girls like with shortcuts, we do them too.” They accept appointments but also welcome walk-ins.

“Everybody should come and try us out, we’re new to the Valley so I think we’ve been here for like two months and everybody should come down.”
