UPDATE: Man dies following shooting at Fawnbrook Apartments

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - The Twin Falls Police Department is currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred on July 3, 2024, at approximately 7:22 p.m., which resulted in the loss of life.
Twin Falls Police Officers responded to 645 Fawnbrook Avenue, Fawnbrook Apartments, for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered Miguel Lawrence Garza, 35 years old, had been shot. He was transported to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center. Unfortunately, Garza succumbed to his injury this morning. The Twin Falls Police Department wishes to express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
“The men and women of the Twin Falls Police Department are actively working to gather evidence, interview witnesses, and have made this a top priority to find the person or persons responsible for this crime and bring them to justice,” stated Chief of Police, Craig Kingsbury.
The Twin Falls Police Department is working closely with the Twin Falls County Prosecutor’s Office and seeking the cooperation of the community to resolve this case.
