Kimberly man arrested for video voyeurism, among other charges
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A Kimberly man is charged with a pair felonies and a misdemeanor.
Kyle Brown, 42, faces felony child sexually exploitative material and video voyeurism charges, as well as misdemeanor domestic battery or assault in the presence of a child. The Honorable Jennifer Bergin placed an enhancement penalty on the domestic battery charge.
According to court documents, the Kimberly-Hansen Police and Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home for a domestic disturbance back on December 26th.
During their investigation, officers say they discovered Brown allegedly hid an iPad inside a bathroom, featuring pictures and videos including a minor, according to victim statements.
Police say the domestic incident reportedly occurred over the discovery of those videos.
The investigation continued throughout the following month, including a forensic CARES interview completed on January 22.
Brown made his initial court appearance Monday afternoon and his bond was set at $100,000.
There is also a no-contact order in place.
Brown is due back in court on March 7th.
