Bellevue man facing drug charges after traffic stop

BELLEVUE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Blaine County deputies arrested a 36-year-old Bellevue man for drug charges after a traffic stop, according to the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle along North Main Street in Bellevue on Feb. 12. The office said deputies found controlled substances and drug paraphernalia inside the car of Tony Marshall Boyett.
Boyett was arrested on one felony count of possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than three ounces, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use, according to the sheriff’s office.
Boyett has pleaded not guilty to the two misdemeanor charges, according to court records.
Boyett was arraigned in court on Thursday and released on a $30,000 bond, according to the sheriff’s office and court records. Boyett’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.
