Local police receive reports of counterfeit money in circulation

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Counterfeit money may be in circulation in the Twin Falls area, according to the Twin Falls Police Department.
There have been reports of counterfeit bills being passed around the area, according to police.
Police advised people to remain vigilant and keep an eye out when handling cash. They also advised looking for security features, feeling the texture of bills, and comparing the bill to a known genuine one.
People can report suspicious or potential counterfeit bills to the Twin Falls Police Department.
