TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The College of Southern Idaho hosted its first-ever fall commencement ceremony for the fall class 2024 on Saturday.

They are having this fall commencement because many of the fall graduates would not go back to walk during the spring commencement, according to CSI.

About 100 students were lined up, waiting to take the stage and receive their diplomas or certificates.

The graduation featured speeches from leaders like the president of CSI and a board member.

“Actually, everyone was really nervous to walk this first fall commencement graduation, and now they’re all super excited knowing that it’s going to be a little shorter but also the same experience, and definitely memorable being the first ones to do it,” one student said.

The spring commencement for CSI will be May 16 at a different time.
