TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — On Friday, the Twin Falls School District announced upgrades to the Harrison Elementary School playground.

The school district will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new playground alongside the Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m.

An anonymous donor’s contribution will help transform the playground into a more inclusive space, according to the Twin Falls School District. The Harrison Preschool serves students with developmental disabilities.

The school worked alongside the Idaho Playground Project to improve the playground’s accessibility, according to the district. The district plans to hold a golf tournament and a truck raffle as fundraisers for the project.
